Description: Hearst Castle is an incredible glimpse into a whole different world and life. I think everybody fantasizes about what house they'd build with unlimited funds. The evening tour that we went on included actors dressed in period costumes wandering the halls, but really the house doesn't even need them. The front pool really captured my imaginiation; sometime I'd like to swim in it.
Post-production: I played with the image a bit, worked on the CCD noise, with limited success. You'll notice this picture is from very early in my ownership of the Digital Rebel, and I didn't really know how to use it fully. In the end the content rose above the technology in this case, and I left it unaltered.
